The ingredients used in Nut Chips® do not contain gluten. Nut Chips are processed in a facility that is certified by the “Gluten Free Certification Organization”. In addition, Blue Diamond has every production lot of Nut Chips tested to confirm gluten levels do not exceed 20 parts per million (ppm).
Nut Chips contain almonds and whole-grain brown rice. One serving of Nacho or Sour Cream & Chive Nut Chips provides 20 grams of whole grain brown rice, while one serving of Sea Salt Nut Chips contains 22 grams of while grain brown rice.
Nut Chips are baked—not fried.
Sea Salt Nut Chips contain 3.5 grams of fat per serving, Nacho Nut Chips contain 4 grams of fat per serving, and Sour Cream & Chives contain 4.5 grams of fat per serving.
The fat found in Nut Chips comes primarily from the natural almond oil found in almonds with trace amounts coming from safflower oil. Nacho and Sour Cream & Chive flavoring and seasoning ingredients also contain small amounts of fat.
Sea Salt Nut Chips are certified Kosher OU, meaning that all ingredients are kosher certified, containing neither meat nor dairy ingredients or derivatives.
Sea Salt Nut Chips are vegan approved. They contain no dairy or other animal products.
No. Blue Diamond uses California almonds grown by our grower co-operative members without the use of genetic engineering or gene manipulation. The varieties of almonds available were developed using traditional agricultural breeding techniques. Blue Diamond Nut Chips also contain brown rice that is not genetically engineered or modified.
Blue Diamond branded products produced in our facilities are peanut free. We do not process, manufacture, store, or handle peanuts or peanut products in our facilities.

None of the ingredients in Sea Salt Nut Chips is derived from corn. Some of the ingredients used in the Nacho and Sour Cream & Chive seasonings and flavors are derived from corn.
While some forms of maltodextrin can contain gluten, we utilize maltodextrin made from corn. Corn does not contain gluten.

All flavors listed in our ingredient statement are derived from natural sources as defined by FDA. No artificial flavors are used.
No, they are not. Blue Diamond Almonds come from our grower cooperative made up of more than 3,000 California almond growers. The brown rice used in Nut Chips comes from several rice growers. While many of our growers are organic farmers, the number of co-op members and brown rice growers makes it impossible for us to monitor and verify that each one meets the accepted standards for organic certification.
Blue Diamond does not add the ingredient MSG (monosodium glutamate) to any of our products.
The salt is not iodized.
Sea Salt Nut Chips contain no soy products. Nacho and Sour Cream & Chive seasonings and flavors use soybean oil.
The almonds are grown in California orchards by our grower cooperative members.
We package our Nut Chips in airtight bags to preserve freshness. Once the packages are opened, the chips should be consumed within one to two weeks. Protect the chips against absorption of moisture and odor.
The inner bag is made up of layers of plastic and aluminum foil and is not recyclable.
The inner bag aluminum is sandwiched between layers of plastic. Nut Chips are in contact with food-grade plastic film.
